What's up, doc! / Home

I find creating a blog is relatively simple and easy but to continue to bless it with attention and fresh content takes considerable effort which I struggle to conjure. I’ve been doing quite a bit of work, on my project Bandalive and on other libraries etc such as jQuery Particles. It’s not that I don’t do much, it’s just that I am not a talker. I find when confronted with a conversation that I prefer to be on the receiving end – whether that is the case is something else, that’s just the way I am. Anyhow I’m keeping this post short as it’s late and the mood to complete it is dwindling.

Firstly I’d like to pat myself on the back and announce that I have done up a guide on how to use jQuery Particles so all those that wish to can finally understand what the heck I was on about. It illustrates the basics and some of the more complexities that you may wish to embark on. Again this library is meant to make working with particles easy and not tedious, it’s not the best solution but it is meant to be a simple enough solution. I hope it does become useful to others as it has with me. So far I have added one preset (circular) but will make the “fireflies” I made for this site a preset and part of the library as well, pending motivation.

Before I head off I have been pondering an idea for a short story in my head. I say pondering because each day this week to-and-from work I have tried to write it but my brain ceases to function. I will write and post it up when it’s done. The idea is relatively short but unique, it’s an idea I’ve had awhile back and wanted to turn it into a animated short film but lost all the work I’d done in the great hard-drive crash of 2003, or about then. I’ll try whip something up in the next week or two for all to criticize.
